Dr. Kate Young is a dedicated dentist based in Mission Valley whose goal is to provide exceptional dental care with a true focus on trust and integrity. She prides herself on working with patients to create a treatment plan tailored to their unique needs, ensuring they are comfortable and understand the process every step of the way. Having completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, she combines top-tier dental knowledge with a keen understanding of patient-focused service and how this relates to full body health.
After graduating dental school, Dr. Young completed a one year general practice residency at the VA of Sepulveda, which advanced her knowledge in specialty procedures such as porcelain veneers and dental crowns. She then went into private practice in Huntington Beach, California for eight years before relocating back to San Diego to be closer to her family and join the amazing team at Libby Dental.
Beyond the office, Dr. Young spends her free time with her husband and two daughters. She is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys all types of boarding sports, as well as hiking and backpacking. Dr. Young is not only a skilled dentist, but a truly relatable and caring healthcare provider. Her goal is always to exceed patient expectations and cultivate long-term relationships based on trust and transparency.
